DRESS CODE


BUSINESS CASUAL DRESS CODE

• Tasteful and conservative business attire
• Long-sleeved shirts with collars (tucked in)
• Traditional slacks, dresses, or skirts of appropriate length
• Traditional dress shoes

THE GRILL DRESS CODE

Business Causal Dress Code Plus:
Jackets or sport coats required for men.

CLUB CASUAL DRESS CODE

Business Casual Dress Code Plus:
• Tailored, conservative denim pants in good repair (no fading, rips, or tears and no jean jackets)
• Short-sleeved collared shirts (tucked in)
• Conservative, tasteful, non-athletic footwear (including loafers, boat shoes, and Allbirds style shoes)

FORMAL DRESS CODE

• Tuxedoes or elegant eveningwear
• Traditional dress shoes

NEVER ALLOWED ITEMS

• Un-tucked shirts, tattered apparel, or clothing with graphics
• Athletic shoes or sneakers (except for medical reasons)
• Hats inside of clubhouse (except on the uncovered Terrace or with coordinating outfits)
The Club maintains a tasteful and conservative dress code. Some examples of items that would be prohibited include: Athletic or leisurewear of any type, jean jackets, rompers, shorts, t-shirts, Birkenstocks, beach, or thong sandals

 

SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS

Fully Reserved Private Meeting or Event Space:
• Club Casual Dress Code is permitted as long as members and guests are in transit directly to and from the room
• The prevailing dress code will apply everywhere else in the Clubhouse

 

OVERNIGHT ROOMS & PRIVATE OFFICE SUITES

• More casual, but tasteful attire is permitted as long as in transit directly to and from the room
• The prevailing dress code will apply everywhere else in the Clubhouse

SPECIAL DESIGNATED EVENTS

Management may designate a special dress code for certain events from time to time as appropriate


ELECTRONIC DEVICES

The use of cell phones for verbal communication is limited to phone booths, private meeting rooms, and guest rooms. 
Discreet use of non-verbal communication such as text messaging and browsing the web is permitted throughout the Club.

When You Visit

Guests

We recommend using the parking lots located on the corner of Van Buren Street and Wabash Avenue or the Grant South Parking Garage at their daily rate.

For certain events, valet services may be arranged. Please contact your event host for more information.

Overnight Hotel Guests

For registered overnight hotel guests, the valet service is available at a rate of $50.

Members

Valet parking for members is complimentary during the day, with an overnight parking rate of $25.
